I am passionate about pumpkin this time of the year!
I wake up thinking about Pumpkin Spice Lattes, commonly known as PSL’s…I map out when I will have a break in my day to grab a pumpkin scone, then I plan a grocery store run on my way home to pick up the ingredients it will take to try out the latest pumpkin filled creation. From breakfast goodies to dinner soups to delectable desserts that make my mouth water from the second I look them up on-line or find them in the latest fall edition of Cooking Light! My passion for pumpkin and all things Fall is real! You can see it through my on line posts, you can observe it through my daily life and routines, and you can even catch the aroma of it wafting from my home! I even buy pumpkin jammies for my precious grandbabies!
My passion for pumpkin is clear! What about my FAITH?
Is my passion for my Faith evident? Is it evident in my morning routine? If you catch me going through my day, will you catch me living out my faith? And when my day is ending, is there a pleasant aroma of my faith ebbing throughout my home?
So, What do PUMPKIN, FALL, and FAITH HAVE IN COMMON?
The answer is: PASSION! I am passionate about pumpkins, passionate about Fall, and passionate about my Faith. The question is, Is my passion for my faith always clear? My passion for my faith must supersede all other passions in my life, for Jesus to be made known and elevated!
So how do I do it? How do we do that? We “Matthew 6:33 it!” You ask, what does that mean? Well…
“Seek first His Kingdom, and all of these things will be added to you.”
Seeking first the Kingdom of God, is another way of saying “Make it your passion!”

Yes, I love Fall, and yes, I love pumpkins. However, my faith is what I treasure most! In season and out of season. Let’s “Matthew 6:33 it” together, and make our faith our greatest passion!
So, grab your PSL, and light that amazing Bath & Body Works Fall candle…just make sure your FAITH is what people know you’re most passionate about!
